How do you remove Carmex stains?
Carmex® stained my clothes in the wash. What do I do? We recommend spot-treating with Era® Plus laundry detergent or Dawn® dish soap, allowing it to soak for about 30 minutes. Launder as usual, and repeat if necessary.
Does ChapStick stains come out?
Follow the package directions and mix a solution of oxygen bleach (such as OxiClean, Clorox 2 or Nellie’s Natural Oxygen Brightener) and warm water. Completely submerge the stained garment and allow it to soak for at least two hours; overnight is even better. This will remove the dye. Wash and dry the fabrics as usual.
Can you wash ChapStick out of clothes?
If you’ve spotted some ChapStick® on the inside of your washer or dryer, it should be fairly easy to remove this residue. Simply scrub at the spots with hot water and a little laundry detergent. Some vinegar might help you remove waxy residue, as well.
