Instructions
- Heat oil in a double boiler. (I use a glass Pyrex® mixing bowl in a saucepan of boiling water.)
- Add the desired amount of powder (alkanet, madder, or both).
- Stir until the oil has reached the desired color.
- Strain into jars.
